You've done this before: you publish your sale on EstateSales.net, then immediately retype the same title, address, description, and dates into whatever tool you're using to manage the line on sale day. Copy, paste, check the address format, fix the dates, remember your opening time — it's twenty minutes of duplicated work every single sale.
We built the URL Import feature so that stops happening.
What it does
Paste your EstateSales.net listing URL into EstateEntry, and we read the public sale data embedded on the page — title, description, address (city, state, ZIP), start date, end date, and the estate sale company running it — then build your full EstateEntry sale page in a single step:
- Sale page with the description you already wrote on the platform, or a shortened version if it's too long for a comfortable read on a phone.
- Schedule days — one row per day of the sale (Fri-Sun sales get all three days).
- Organizer name (the EstateSales.net company listing) so shoppers can spot a familiar brand.
- Dynamic QR codes — both the yard sign code and the arrival / front-door check-in code, generated via ScanStack.
- Line reservation turns on automatically. Shoppers can claim a spot before the doors open.
How to use it (30 seconds)
- Sign in to your EstateEntry company account.
- Navigate to Sales → Import a sale.
- Paste the EstateSales.net URL from your sale's detail page (looks like
https://www.estatesales.net/CA/Carmichael/95608/5059815). - Preview what we found. Everything looks right? Tap Create this sale.
- You land on your sale page with live QR codes and a line reservation URL ready to share.
That's it. If anything looks off in the preview — such as a sale that was deleted from EstateSales.net or a URL that got truncated — you'll see a clear error and you'll know it's time to try again or type it manually instead. Nothing half-created gets saved.
Why it's built this way
We could have asked you to upload a spreadsheet or copy-paste columns of text. But sales professionals don't want to reformat things — they want the exact details they already wrote to show up in the new place, automatically.
The importer reads only publicly-visible sale facts from the detail page. No inventory lists, no private pricing data, no customer names. It respects what EstateSales.net publishes publicly about their customers' sales and doesn't try to scrape anything beyond those facts.
Six-minute demo sale
Did we mention the free trial? If you're a company who hasn't tried EstateEntry yet, your first sale is free forever. Use the importer to publish your next sale, share the QR code on a yard sign, watch the registrations come in, and see what a fair, timestamp-ordered sale day looks like from your side.
What comes next
Two directions we'd like to go next, and we need you to tell us what you'd prefer:
- Pickerty URL support — if your sale is published there instead, the flow should work the same way.
- Generic "paste your own website URL" support — for operators who host their own site and want their inventory to skip re-typing too.
Frequently asked questions
Will the import erase my EstateSales.net listing?
No. We import sale facts, we never modify anything on EstateSales.net. Your listing there stays intact, since that's where shoppers discover the sale in the first place. EstateEntry runs alongside it.
Can I import a sale that's not published yet?
Yes, so long as the listing URL has started on your EstateSales.net dashboard and dates/address are visible to us. If the field is blank or the listing isn't visible yet (outside the public preview window), we'll tell you we can't read it yet — try again when the listing goes live on the site.
What if my description is already great?
Keep it! You can edit anything after importing — the description auto-truncates for phone readability but is never thinned out below the key facts. Add your categories in the first line and your parking/payment details in the second line as usual.
Does the QR code change if I edit the sale after import?
No — the QR codes are dynamic but point to your EstateEntry URL, which stays the same. Editing the title or description doesn't require reprinting your yard sign.
Can I import multiple sales?
Yes, once you're on Standard ($39/mo) or Pro ($89/mo). Solo trial covers 1 sale, after which you'll be routed to the Billing page to pick a plan.
Can my assistant import my sale for me?
If they have an account under the same company (Pro supports multiple logins), yes — any company member can run an import, and the sale is created under that company's profile.
