The shopper questions we get, over and over.
Is a line reservation free?
Yes. Position rank is based on your registration timestamp only. Nobody can pay to move up.
Do I need the app?
No. Everything runs in a phone browser.
Does a spot guarantee me entry?
Not literally — if you miss your window, it can be released to backfill. But you always have the option to arrive, verify, and enter within the grace period. It's access, not a guaranteed pass.
Can my spouse and I register together?
The newest line platforms (EstateEntry among them) support a group/household registration: two shoppers occupy one slot.
What if I'm coming from far away?
Check the estimated entry time on the sale page; if it puts you past 2pm, plan the drive accordingly. And tell the company — they'll usually hold spots for travelers arriving within a fair window.
Can I hold my spot and let a friend stand in my place?
No — the spot belongs to your account. If you can't make it, cancel, and let your friend register fresh (the timestamp order stays fair, and other shoppers aren't penalized for your clock).
How do I know when to arrive?
On the sale page, in the staff panel, or in a reminder email/push. If a sale has "registration opens Thursday at 7pm," don't miss it, since these fill during the first minutes.
What if the sale gets cancelled?
Everyone gets notified and your spot is automatically voided. You don't have to do anything.
Can the company see my personal details?
Generally no. Platforms protect shopper identities: the company sees your line number and status, not your email or phone.
Can I use the platform for non-estate sales (garage sales, museums, etc.)?
Most tools (Pickerty included) do technically. EstateEntry is estate-sale-first by design: door QR check-in, no-show backfill, and the entry-sales workflow.
