When should I register?
As early as it's offered. Position is timestamp-order, so registering the evening before will beat registering at 6am day-of. Some sales open registration exactly 24 hours in advance. If the listing says "registration opens at 7pm Thursday," treat it like a movie pre-release.
When should I arrive?
Arrive near opening, not before it. Positions are timestamped, not arrival based — showing up 5 minutes before the doors open doesn't get you ahead of the person who clicked at 8pm the night before. That's the entire point.
What if I'm running late?
Grace windows vary but usually 10–20 minutes after opening. Arrive within the window and you're fine; after it, you lose your position to backfill. Call the sale company if you're genuinely stuck in traffic — many will hold if called, but they are not obligated to.
Is a virtual line the same as an online auction?
No — you're still shopping in people's real houses. Positions are only for entry order. Buy what you want, not what a bid won.
Can I bring my family?
Line platforms let one household register as a group — one registered family occupies one slot. There's no need to each claim a spot. Watch the etiquette: six people at one position is a crowd problem, not a family benefit.
